Senior Recruiter

Peter Zachowicz, a recruiter at BAS Healthcare, was born in New York, New York, but grew up in the Richmond, Virginia area. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Peter joined VCU Health’s operating room organ transplant team. He went on to hold several other nursing roles, including work as an oncology RN specializing in hematology-oncology, before becoming a charge nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. After approximately five years in nursing, Peter felt ready for a career change and joined BAS Healthcare in December 2025.

In his free time, Peter enjoys watching soccer (Arsenal FC!), lifting, traveling, spending time with loved ones, surfing, gaming, and trying great restaurants. He values the importance of teamwork within an interdisciplinary healthcare team and is dedicated to finding the best-fitting positions for his candidates.
