Lauren grew up in River Vale, NJ and attended Radford University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. While there, she studied psychology and sociology and was a part of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority all 4 years. After graduating college in 1995, she moved to NOVA with a few sorority sisters to start our careers. When the world wide web first came out, Laruen was able to jump on that huge opportunity and work for many IT companies for almost 10 years. She absolutely loved working with customers and was an Account/Project Manager for major companies including GAP and P&G. After being in the industry for so long, she was ready for a change and decided to venture out into the Hotel industry. Lauren got hired to work at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City as a Sales Manager and truly found her passion. She worked there for almost 5 years and received Presidents club 4 out of the 5 years. Her husband got an opportunity he couldn’t pass up in Chicago, so they moved there, and she worked at the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton for a little over a year. After their first year there they had their first baby, a son Colby. Then 2 years later they had their daughter Reese. They absolutely loved living in the beautiful clean, vibrant city of Chicago though despised the cold weather. So, after 5 years, they decided to get back to the east coast and moved to Charlotte. Lauren stayed at home to take care of the kids for a few years but always had the itch to go back to work. When covid hit, there was her opportunity, she wanted to be a part of helping the solution to ending that awful pandemic as much as she could. With having a very long career in sales, she felt this would be the reason to help the way she personally could. In 2021 Lauren started working as a recruiter and loved being back to work. It was a crazy busy time but being a part of filling teams with providers to help with Covid testing, it felt very rewarding.
