Barry Sklar is the President of BAS Healthcare and grew up in suburban New York City. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at American International College. Barry has spent his entire professional career in the field of recruiting. He started off spending 4 years working at Fifth Avenue Personnel in Manhattan, NY, where he recruited support staff and worked with large corporations. He then transitioned into physician recruitment with Weatherby Healthcare (currently CHG Healthcare), where he spent over 4 years as their Vice President of Recruitment.
Barry founded BAS Healthcare in 1996 and has now spent over 20 years as President. Barry is extremely personable and has a proven successful track record during his many years of physician recruiting. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys sports, fitness and has an interest in real estate. Since graduating college, Barry has dedicated his career to helping others find their dream opportunity as well as helping healthcare facilities or corporations secure talented and caring employees.
Treg grew up all over the world because of his family ties to the military, spending 9 years in Europe and 9 years in multiple states before heading to college. Treg completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at American Christian College (now Barton College) with a concentration in Athletic Training. He was also a 4-year member of the soccer team at ACC. Post-graduation, Treg earned a Master’s of Sports Science from United States Sports Academy in Sports Medicine.
Treg is remarkably experienced in physician recruitment with extensive experience within the field. He has worked in different recruitment settings, supervising a physician recruitment department for a large health system in Virginia as well as providing both permanent and locum tenens solutions for agency recruitment. Treg’s first opportunity in physician recruitment was with Merritt, Hawkins and Associates (now AMN Healthcare) and he realized physician recruitment was something he wanted to do as a career. He enjoys the structure of the field yet he feels there is flexibility that causes each day to be a little different than the last. He acknowledges that moving a physician or their family from one area of the country to another can be a lifelong change for them and it is not a matter he takes lightly when dealing with candidates.
During his free time, Treg coaches and plays soccer, loves boating and all other aspects of lake life. He feels his experience of having done agency as well as in-house recruitment makes him an extremely reliable resource for physicians and clients alike. He can relate very well with clients and can provide a thorough understanding of the client’s needs throughout the entire process of their recruitment efforts. He has had tremendous success placing physicians in every specialty throughout the US and believes his vast range of experience is vital to his success in finding candidates and clients solutions.
Cameron was born in Plano, TX, and grew up in Fairfax, VA. He attended Barton College where he was a member of the soccer team. Cameron has been working at BAS Healthcare since 2012, with experience in the Permanent and Locums Divisions. He has consistently been a top performer for the company, earning Recruiter of the Month six times and finishing in the Top 5 for production every year he has been at the company. During his free time Cameron enjoys playing soccer, traveling and working out.

Seth is from Springfield, VA, and attended the University of Mary Washington where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. During his time at Mary Washington, he was a 4-year member of their varsity baseball team. He received all-conference and all-region accolades for his excellent performance on the field and earned a prestigious award of being the Outstanding Leader on a Varsity Sports Team for his senior season. Throughout his career at BAS healthcare, he has been an outstanding producer and leader for the Primary Care Division. In his free time, he enjoys weight training, running and traveling. He entered the physician recruiting field because he grew up around many medical professionals and had ambitions to become a part of the medical field. Though he didn’t end up being a medical professional or physician, he embraces the fact that physician recruiting allows him to be an integral part of the healthcare industry.
Tuan was born and raised in Vietnam until moving to the United States at the age of 9. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree at James Madison University where he majored in Health Services Administration with a minor in Computer Information Systems. During his time at JMU, he was a member of the Sigma Epsilon Fraternity and the Vietnamese Student Association. Tuan enjoys playing flag football and lifting weights during his free time. Since joining BAS Healthcare in 2015, he has really enjoyed the supportive environment at the company and the work-life balance has been great. Erika grew up in Manassas, VA, and graduated from Virginia Tech with her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Prior to joining BAS Healthcare, she had 10 years of experience in Catering/Bar Management. She has been working in physician recruitment at BAS Healthcare since 2011 as a Physician Recruiter and Coordinator for both the Permanent and Locum Tenens Divisions. During this time, she has excelled in every role she has been assigned and is a key part of the company’s success. As the mother of five children, she doesn’t have much free time, but she enjoys antiquing, baking, and relaxing when she can.
Loree has served as a Physician Recruiter with BAS Healthcare since 2007. Since that time she has collaborated with thousands of physicians in the fields of Psychiatry, Neurology and Neurosurgery to help align them with their ideal jobs. Loree finds it extremely rewarding to be able to assist a new physician who is completing their training to secure their first job opportunity. She is known as a physician recruiter who builds strong and lasting relationships with physicians, often helping them find different job opportunities throughout their careers. The field of physician recruiting has given Loree the opportunity to build great relationships with physicians and to positively impact their lives.
Loree grew up in northern Virginia and graduated from Marymount University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She also played on the women’s basketball team during her time at Marymount. Loree’s career path has provided her with numerous opportunities to assist and counsel others, which is her passion. Prior to joining BAS Healthcare, Loree worked for the National Rehabilitation and Rediscovery Foundation, assisting survivors of brain injuries adjust to daily living. She also worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer where she was able to positively affect people’s lives.
In her free time Loree enjoys spending time and traveling with her family, playing basketball and tennis. She is still currently living in northern Virginia with her husband and two sons.
Brad was born in Nebraska and has spent time living all across the United States as well as in Spain, England and Germany due to family ties to the military. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art at Northern State College in South Dakota. During his time at Northern State College, he played football and proceeded to continue to play rugby for 12 years after graduation. He has been a leader for Psychiatry and Neurosciences Division since joining BAS Healthcare in 2010. He couldn’t be happier in transitioning his career to this profession and it will continue to be his career of choice until retirement. He feels that one of the best moments in physician recruitment is hearing the excitement in his clients and candidates voice when things are coming together and knowing he had an active role in making that happen.
Eric was born and raised in Pasadena, MD, a suburb of Baltimore. He attended McDaniel College where he played four years of Baseball. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Eric entered the staffing industry as a Back Office Business Operations Associate. After a year in a back office role, Eric decided to join the BAS Healthcare team to experience the recruiting side of the industry where he could have more of a direct impact in helping Physicians with their job search. In his free time, Eric enjoys exercising, playing various sports, and traveling.
Liz grew up in Baltimore, MD, and attended George Mason University. Liz has been a vital part to the success of both the Primary Care and Psychiatry and Neurosciences Divisions since joining the company in 2012. She was part of a team who were the top producers for the company in 2015. During her free time, Liz enjoys baking, watching football and traveling. Liz is very dedicated to her work at BAS Healthcare and will go the extra mile to meet the needs of a client or candidate!
Josh was born in Loma Linda, CA and grew up in Boulder, CO and Leesburg, VA. Josh graduated from James Madison University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration with a minor in Business. Prior to joining BAS Healthcare in 2017, Josh worked at Nike as a Sales Associate and completed a government contracting internship with Stonebridge Inc. During his time at Nike, Josh was awarded Most Valuable Employee of the Month multiple times.
He chose a career in physician recruitment because he loves working with people and the challenge of physician recruiting is very rewarding. During his free time Josh enjoys exercising, traveling, and going to concerts.
Stewart was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Law with a minor in Economics at Western Carolina University. During his time at Western Carolina, he was the Recruitment Chair for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, a member of the Business Law club and participated in Intramural Basketball and Flag Football. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing and playing sports during his free time. He chose to pursue a career in physician recruitment due to his genuine passion for helping others. Hannah was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA and graduated from James Madison University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Public Health Education. During her time at James Madison, Hannah played Division 1 Field Hockey. Prior to joining BAS Healthcare in 2017, Hannah worked for a Chiropractor’s office working at the front desk and doing their marketing.
